All domestic orders within the United States of America and her territories use the United States Postal Service. See below for shipping to other countries.
A tracking number is assigned to every domestic and international order and is sent to you using the email address you provide at checkout.
Please use care and double-check your email address AND shipping address when checking out.
The postage software ships to the shipping address you enter during checkout. If your order is returned due to an incorrect address being entered at checkout, your choices are: (1) an invoice sent for the exact shipping charge to re-ship your parcel; or (2) a refund of merchandise value only. If (2) is selected and the order received free shipping, the exact shipping cost of the order will be deducted from the return amount.
In the event of an internet and/or power outage, or other incident, shipping will resume when the local internet access and/or power resumes, and providing the USPS is operational. StarLitStudio is located in northeast USA - the State of New Jersey. Should such an incident occur, all orders will be on hold until power and services are restored. During this time you can cancel your order up until your package ships by emailing me at starlitstudio@gmail.com. Orders placed Monday through Thursday ship same or next postal day. Business day ends at 7pm EST. Package pick up time is around 10am EST Mondays through Saturdays. I work shipping packages and printing postage up until George, my hard-working mail carrier, arrives.
Orders placed after 7pm Friday, orders placed on Saturday, or orders placed on Sunday will ship Monday morning or the next postal day.

Shipping cost within the United States, including APO/FPO and U.S. Territories, is calculated based on the total merchandise cost.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING
In addition to the First Class Package International shipping cost, a flat $3.00 is added to your order upon checkout, regardless of amount of merchandise purchased, for required insurance. All parcels leaving USA borders from StarLitStudio must include insurance for the merchandise total of your order. Your order total upon checkout will not include actual shipping costs, only the insurance cost. Actual shipping costs are billed separately via PayPal email invoice after your parcel is weighed, wherein any major credit card or PayPal can be used.

For shipping cost reference, most packages to Canada from one ounce up to eight ounces are around $17.00. Packages from 8.1 ounces to two pounds are around $20.00. Australian costs are slightly higher.
Once your order is received it will be carefully packaged, then weighed, then an email sent to you outlining the shipping costs. If you decide to proceed with the order an invoice will then be sent for the shipping costs. If the shipping costs are prohibitive the order is voided. Usually the email with shipping costs for approval is sent within one business day upon receipt of order. Your order ships immediately once the shipping invoice is paid.
International orders are shipped using First Class Package if under four pounds, and Priority Mail International for orders exceeding four pounds. International Letter class is not available due to its inability to be insured.
If you are an international customer outside the countries listed at checkout, in a country not in the EU nor in the UK, and are looking to have an order shipped to your country, please contact me for shipping options.
