Shipping

StarLitStudio ships every postal day to ensure rapid delivery to you. All parcels ship same or next postal day.  

'Postal day' means we ship Saturdays too.  Taking advantage of USPS on Saturdays means faster package arrival time to you.

All domestic orders within the United States of America and her territories use the United States Postal Service.

A tracking number is assigned to every domestic order and is sent to you using the email address you provide at checkout.  

Please use care and double-check your email address AND shipping address when checking out.

All orders are inspected and checked before shipment to ensure accuracy and that the product is in excellent condition. Your products are packaged neatly and orderly as I am an organizational neat-freak.

When packaging your order, it may be necessary to cushion/neatly wrap up your products - if so, high-quality, USA made, sapphire blue tissue paper made with 100 percent recycled fibers is used. 

The postage software ships to the shipping address you enter during checkout.  If your order is returned due to an incorrect address being entered at checkout, your choices are: (1) an invoice sent for the exact shipping charge to re-ship your parcel; or (2) a refund of merchandise value only.  If (2) is selected and the order received free shipping, the exact shipping cost of the order will be deducted from the return amount.

In the event of an internet and/or power outage, or other incident, shipping will resume when the local internet access and/or power resumes, and providing the USPS is operational.  StarLitStudio is located in northeast USA - the State of New Jersey.  Should such an incident occur, all orders will be on hold until power and services are restored. This section was inserted after Hurricane Sandy ripped through the Northeast in 2012, and we were without power and postal service.

All orders shipped receive a tracking number that is sent to the email address provided at checkout.  Once your order ships and is on its way to you the United States Postal Service is responsible for fulfilling its duty with delivery. The customer, you, will make sure packages are shipped to a secure location to prevent loss or theft.  It is your responsibility to monitor tracking progress and confirmation of delivery unless previous arrangements with StarLitStudio, LLC have been made in writing.

Orders placed Monday through Thursday ship same or next postal day. Business day ends at 7pm EST. Package pick up time is around 10am EST Mondays through Saturdays.  I work shipping packages and printing postage up until George, my hard-working mail carrier, arrives.

Orders placed after 7pm Friday, orders placed on Saturday, or orders placed on Sunday will ship Monday morning or the next postal day.

Shipping cost within the United States, including APO/FPO and U.S. Territories, is calculated based on the total merchandise cost.

International shipping is offered to some countries - I've been shipping internationally since 2003. Please email me with a list and your address/country and I can provide a shipping quote.  A common solution is to have items shipped to a USA based post office box that you maintain, and have them handle the shipping to you.
