Walnut Ink Crystals - 2 oz
Product Description
Two ounces (56.69g) of walnut ink crystals: mix with water and use to create beautifully aged papers. Ratio of crystals to water is personal preference - have fun & experiment!
Clear plastic container with twist-off lid. Container (without lid) measures 1-3/4" in height and diameter.
One teaspoon is recommended to 1/2 cup of water. One can strengthen by adding more crystals or weaken by adding more water. Never throw away leftover solution - conserve and use for next use. Try using a wide-mouthed glass jar for storage - wide enough so an eye-dropper can fit inside easily as well as a crumpled up shipping tag!
Try dipping desired paper embellishments directly into the solution and hang on a line to dry (very natural effect) - try crumpling first for a fabulous aged effect, or if in a rush, blot with paper towels and heat with a heat gun/heat tool. Iron flat with a craft iron if desired.
