Facets - Tim Holtz
Product Description
Funky and fun: A set of twelve (12) solid, clear acrylic, faceted elements per package.
Also included are twelve (12) antique nickel jump rings.
Sizes range from 3/4" in height to 2" in height. Thickness is approximately 1/8" (4.5mm).
Back of each shape is flat - only the front edges are faceted, making these easy to trim when centering over patterned paper or photos.
Customize and alter! Use plain/unaltered over distressed cardstock, scrapbooking papers, photos to showcase. Try applying VersaMark to surface then sprinkle embossing powder (or a few embossing powder colors!), heat set then press in a rubber stamp; allow to cool & remove stamp. These facets can be altered in color by using alcohol inks, embossing powders, rubber stamps (recommend Ranger Archival Ink or other permanent ink), permanent markers and/or rub-ons. Perfect for adding a translucent touch to your projects!
Apply a thin layer of clear-drying glue to adhere. Allow to dry then trim! Tim Holtz has recommended (in his videos) Ranger's Glossy Accents adhesive when using alcohol inks and with this product in general.
Tiny holes are pre-drilled through each facet to attach to your project with the enclosed jump rings.
Ideally suited for altered books, handmade cards, journals, the jewelry arena, scrapbooking and the entire paper crafting realm, to name just a few venues.
