E6000 - 3.7 ounce - large tube
Product Description
E-6000 - tube holds 3.7 oz and contains an applicator nozzle. E-6000 is a thick, permanent bonding adhesive.
Tough, flexible and highly versatile rubber based compound that exhibits exceptional adhesive, contact adhesive and sealant qualities. Washing machine safe and dryer safe.
common applications: glass, rhinestones, clay pottery, rocks, sea shells, beads, fabric, ceramic, wood, glass, metal
directions and tips:
Apply directly to *each* surface to be bonded.
Allow to partially cure ten minutes before bringing surfaces together.
I did this with a coffee mug handle (my son's favorite mug) and that was two years ago - been run through the dishwasher well over 100 times at least - this is why we are carrying it in the store - it works. Period.
To make sure you use every last bit of this product, be sure cap is secured back to original position. Use a toothpick as a disposable applicator for very small applications such as beading. Remove, recap and allow plastic nozzle to dry. Remove dried product from nozzle by pulling out through threaded end and reuse nozzle.
Performs best when applied at 70 to 85 degrees F. When fully cured, product can withstand temperatures between -40 and 150 degrees F. I fixed an outdoor metal sun dial last year and it's still good to go. And we're in the northeast USA. It gets darn cold here.
Safety: Use E-6000 in a well ventilated area. I can attest to doing domino pendants in my studio with the windows closed (it WAS winter...) and getting high. Not fun. Massive headache followed. Open your windows or use outdoors or in a well ventilated room - ventilation is important here folks. Also, E-6000 may damage finished surfaces. Avoid prolonged contact until product is completely dry. Do not dry clean. Always test material samples prior to use on an original project where reversibility is important.
