Tease a swatch of delicate ribbon inside and encapsulate for all antiquity! Attach using wire, waxed linen and so forth, and dangle one or several with other found items from a spine of a journal.

StarLitStudio recommends if sealing of the cork is desired, to use a clear-drying glue, as superglue or similar product may etch the glass.

Cleverly designed packaging in a matchbook style - the pages containing the adhesive label stickers are perforated. Six pages in all of vintage-style vial labels. These are in sticker form and peel away neatly from the backing.

These labels are more like heavier, text weight paper and not cardstock weight - this weight of adhesive-backed paper is so they will adhere neatly and flush with a curved surface such as a bottle.

Matchbook measures 3" x about 4-1/2". Three pages contain red bordered labels and three pages contain black bordered labels - Six pages in all; three label sizes.

Label sizes:
  • 1-1/4" x 13/16" - eight (8) per page - one page in black and one page in red
  • 5/8" x 1-9/16" - seven (7) per page - one page in black and one page in red
  • 1-5/8" x 15/16" - five (5) per page - one page in black and one page in red

The best result for aging these labels is to apply Distress Antique Linen ink, then a very light application of Distress Walnut Stain ink using a foam ink applicator, then flick with water. Allow water to sit for a few seconds, then blot the surface with a clean cloth/dry paper towel. Adhere label to glass surface, then using your fingernail or similar tool abrade the edges ever so slightly. Apply additional Distress Walnut Stain with applicator as needed to conceal the white edges you created. If adhering to glass you can do this last step while the label is on the bottle; if adhering to something else, distress the edges on a non-stick mat or while holding, then ink the edges with Walnut Stain, then apply to desired area.
